uptown.

before i move into my east village habitat, i am staying with my uncle in harlem in his cozy 3 bedroom apartment. my uncle is vivacious and electic, truly. his book shelf holds some 1000 books from black history to finance to jazz to numerology guides. yes, numerology. my uncle is a famed numerologist who has penned two books; his more famous one is entitled numbers and you. he travels the morning radio circuit explaining the power of numerology. he's quirky, indeed. he asks questions and walks with a tip toed limp. he performs his morning calisthentics, feeds his cat dutchie, reads endlessly, and studies numbers. he will always ask the birthday of any person you tell him about to, i assume, "peer into their inner soul." i kidd you not.

london redux.

because i am tired & lazy, i will summarize my trip to london and dublin as follows:

- started a love affair with top shop
- bumped (literally) into my friends alex and jen (studying in paris) at the flagship top shop
- fraternized with dirty-minded english boys
- discovered regina spektor at a downtown dublin store
- let 3 strapping irish brothers get me sufficiently drunk
- mortified myself before an irish bloke who works at goldman sachs
- snapped photos i was not particularly proud of
- saw a play on the west end that traquilizes me
- got my fix of red double deckers
- drank heavily with stephen in from edinburgh
- murdered my mastercard
